At GeoPark, we believe that trust is built through actions and open dialogue. That is why we promote environmental transparency by sharing information, strengthening dialogue, and protecting the environment together with our neighboring communities.

With great enthusiasm, we delivered a modern trailer to the municipality of Tauramena—an asset for the community that will strengthen the municipality’s operational capacity to carry out road infrastructure projects and improve the quality of life of its residents.

This is GeoPark’s Casanare Pipeline (ODCA), a key asset in our strategy to integrate efficiency, sustainability, and safety into our crude oil transportation operations.

In partnership with La Silla Vacía, we successfully completed a new training cycle for more than 50 journalists from Casanare and Putumayo, addressing key topics such as: Artificial intelligence applied to journalism, audiovisual storytelling, financial sustainability of media outlets and tools to address disinformation.

We visited our neighboring communities in Tauramena and Villanueva, and together we carried out a tour of our environmental track record through interactive stations, with a clear purpose: to share, listen, and address concerns.

We welcomed the Governor of Casanare, César Ortiz Zorro, the Mayor of Tauramena, Javier Álvarez, and community leaders to our operations in a session that reaffirmed that joint efforts between the company, authorities, and communities make it possible to transform realities.

María Luisa Villa, Sustainability Leader at GeoPark, spoke with Juanita de la Hoz Herrera, Director of Responsible Business Conduct at the Ideas for Peace Foundation, about the responsibility and role of companies in promoting and respecting human rights, and how at GeoPark we work in partnership with other stakeholders to strengthen our sustainability practices.

This new space is not only a point of in-person service, but also a place to share experiences—a meeting point to continue fostering dialogue and building together with our neighbors in Casanare. It is our home!
