GeoPark is included in the 2026 S&P Dow Jones Best-in-Class MILA Pacific Alliance Index

Inclusion due to outstanding sustainability performance in the oil and gas sector 

GeoPark has been included in the 2026 S&P Dow Jones Best-in-Class MILA Pacific Alliance Index for its sustainability management in 2025. The index – which was created in 1999 and is part of a group of global sustainability benchmarks – incorporates environmental, social and governance criteria in equity index methodology and selects companies with the best relative sustainability performance within their sector. 

GeoPark’s inclusion in the index reflects concrete results from the execution of its sustainability strategy, which is detailed in the 2025 SPEED/Sustainability Report that was published Friday, May 8.  

The SPEED/Sustainability Report highlights a 35% reduction in emissions intensity over five years, a year without fatal incidents and the lowest accident rate in four years, and US$10.4 million socio-environmental investment benefiting over 300,000 people from neighboring communities. 

Being part of the Index is in addition to GeoPark being included for the second consecutive year in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, a global assessment that recognizes the companies with the best ESG performance in 59 industries. That occasion, in February 2026, was the first time that GeoPark was ranked in the Top 10 best performing companies in the Oil & Gas – Upstream & Integrated sector, among 109 companies that were evaluated globally.
