GeoPark joins the United Nations Global Compact

Leading Latin American oil and gas explorer, operator and consolidator GeoPark is proud to have recently joined the United Nations Global Compact, a voluntary leadership platform that for the past two decades has promoted sustainable business practices around the world.

Promoting sustainable development in all decisions and actions has been part of GeoPark’s DNA since its founding in 2002, and this commitment is embodied in SPEED, an integrated value system that governs all of the Company’s activities in five interdependent areas: Safety, Prosperity, Employees, the Social Environment and Community Development.

Joining the Global Compact underlines how GeoPark’s mission to Create Value and Give Back is aligned with the international development agenda. The Company is firmly committed to helping achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to communicate its actions transparently.
