GeoPark wins Gold award from insurance company ARL Seguros Bolivar

Bogota D.C., Colombia – GeoPark was rewarded for its commitment to the health and safety of its workers and contractors by winning the Gold award in the Inspiradores de la Tranquilidad awards held by insurance company ARL Seguros Bolivar. The award was in the category of occupational health and safety management systems for companies with over 100 employees.

After leading a rigorous evaluation process of more than 550 applications from companies with activities in different regions of Colombia, the Colombian Security Council (CCS) awarded GeoPark the highest distinction for its strategic Health and Safety plan. Through it, the Company identifies risks, generates programs and tools to minimize risk, and promotes training for its employees and contractors to strengthen the culture of prevention.

“This award is a recognition of the commitment of the Company and all of its employees to safety, a central pillar of our DNA and our value system,” GeoPark HS manager Carlos Gomez said at the virtual awards ceremony. “At GeoPark, we work every day so that all our employees and contractors return safely to their homes.”
