GeoPark Celebrates the Recognition of Two Women Leaders on Its Team for Their Outstanding Work

GeoPark, Latin America’s leading independent energy company, proudly celebrates the recognition of two distinguished women from its leadership team, who have been included in nationally and internationally renowned rankings for their influence and professional contributions.

Marcela Vaca, Member of GeoPark’s Board of Directors and Chair of the SPEED/Sustainability Committee, was included in Bloomberg Línea’s prestigious list of “The 500 Most Influential People in Latin America.” This marks the fourth year Marcela has received this honor, in a ranking that highlights 57 Colombians—including business leaders, scientists, artists, and social advocates—who have made a transformative impact in their respective sectors.

Meanwhile, Mónica Jiménez, GeoPark’s Director of Strategy, Sustainability, and Legal, has been recognized for the third consecutive year in the GC Powerlist Colombia 2024. This distinction, awarded by British firm The Legal 500, honors the most influential legal professionals in the country, recognizing their leadership, strategic vision, and contributions to the private sector.
