To celebrate International Human Rights Day, GeoPark reports on this year’s progress in strengthening its Human Rights System and the results that demonstrate solid management consistent with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

The Company ends 2025 with an updated and strengthened Human Rights Policy that reflects global trends, stakeholder expectations and findings from its human rights impact analysis. Tailored to the social, economic, and environmental contexts of the regions where the Company operates, this policy now serves as a guide for interacting with different stakeholders.

As part of this process, GeoPark implemented two key initiatives to strengthen its due diligence and daily operations: the Ethnic Engagement Protocol, which supports intercultural dialogue, informed participation and respect for the cultural identity of ethnic communities; and the Protocol to Protect People in Situations of Risk or Threat, which provides guidance for responsible, coordinated action in sensitive situations within the Companys operational areas. Both protocols reinforce GeoPark’s commitment to respectful and differentiated management of the contexts where its activities are carried out.

The Company also made significant progress in capacity building and training, a core component of its Human Rights System. In 2025, training was provided to suppliers in Bogota and Cundinamarca through a partnership with Guías Colombia. Teams managing grievance mechanisms received specialized instruction, and many employees participated in Human Rights System. Additional awareness and training sessions were held in the territories where the Company operates.

In 2026, GeoPark will further reinforce the application of established protocols, enhance supplier due diligence, broaden internal training initiatives and strengthen governance within its Human Rights System. These efforts reflect the Company’s ongoing commitment to responsible and proactive management aligned with the stakeholder expectations and the respective contexts of the different areas in which the Company operates.
