Management Framework
Our Human Rights System
At GeoPark, we manage human rights in a structured manner, aligned with the United Nations Guiding Principles (UNGPs) on Business and Human Rights. Our system consists of six fundamental pillars that guide how we prevent, mitigate, and manage impacts, build capacities, address grievances, and transparently share our progress with stakeholders.

Our Human Rights Policy
Aligned with the United Nations Guiding Principles, our policy guides our management and relationship with all our stakeholders. This policy integrates global trends and stakeholder priorities, adapts to the social, economic and environmental contexts of the territories we operate in, and reflects the results of the human rights impact analyses we carry out in our controlled operations.

Our Human Rights Governance
Through our governance structure, we include human rights in all strategic decisions and internal processes. The Sustainability Area heads the system, with responsibilities distributed across other departments and supervision at all levels, from operations to the Board of Directors. This coordination enhances our ability to prevent, mitigate and manage risks and impacts on human rights in the regions where we operate.

Oversees human rights management as an integral part of sustainability at GeoPark. Monitors the implementation of the sustainability system and the associated risks in the territories we operate in.

Responsible for integrating the human rights approach into strategic decisions. They ensure effective coordination between areas and lead the system from the executive level.

Human Rights Area
Implements activities in the field, identifies local risks and ensures the effective implementation of the system in constant dialogue with communities and stakeholders. Activities are designed and implemented in coordination with the responsible areas, who have assigned responsibilities for the prevention, mitigation and management of human rights risks and impacts.

Multi-Stakeholder Initiatives on Human Rights
Engaging in multi-stakeholder initiatives significantly enhances our human rights management. These forums enable us to interact with companies, civil society and governments and discuss best practices and challenges in this area.br>
