Since 2016, the Company has committed to developing journalists’ capacities in Casanare and Putumayo, recognizing communication as a tool to connect realities, open conversations and contribute to territorial development.

This project contributes to the transformation of livestock farming in Meta and Casanare through silvopastoral systems, with interventions in about 80,000 hectares.

Highlights of GeoPark’s road safety management in 2025 include zero recordable vehicle incidents associated with operations; the result of a comprehensive strategy that combines training, prevention campaigns in the territories, and coordination with sector partners.

As part of its commitment to the respect and promotion of human rights, GeoPark held eight Human Rights training sessions for more than 220 employees, contractors and suppliers in the departments of Casanare and Meta, Colombia.

Through the Works for Taxes mechanism, GeoPark made improvements to schools by allocating 5.8 billion pesos to provide school furniture as well as teaching, art and cultural equipment. It also gave almost 7,000 study kits to students in Casanare, Meta, and Putumayo.
