This activity for Neuquen students addressed the hidden risks of technology, and opportunities for academic and professional development.

Neuquen, Argentina – GeoPark, the Digital Education department of the Neuquen Province Ministry of Education, IBM and the Infotech cluster held an online discussion on network security on October 8 with secondary school students in Neuquen.

Cybersecurity and information security specialists Marco Antonio Cabrera from GeoPark, Pablo Acevedo from IBM and Jesus Almada from Infotech – who have 55 years’ experience between them – spoke about the hidden risks of technology, protection from possible cyber-attacks and how to safely navigate in cyberspace. They also discussed opportunities for academic and professional development.
