Its ISO 45001:2018 certified Occupational Health and Safety Management System consolidates a preventive approach that covers all operated blocks and resulted in zero recordable vehicular incidents and more than 9.4 million hours worked without fatalities in 2024.Operations at GeoPark are based on the conviction that all accidents are preventable. The Company’s operational and logistics areas coordinate to identify, evaluate and control hazards and risks, implementing measures to prevent their materialization. This process uses management tools focused on the early identification of hazards, which in 2024 achieved notable results:Proactive Observation Program (POP): Employees and contractors identify safe and unsafe behaviors and conditions in operations. In 2024, 15,960 observations were registered, an average of 44 a day that shows the collective commitment to accident prevention.Authority to Stop an Activity (ADA): All workers have the right and obligation to stop any activity that presents a risk to people, the environment, or infrastructure. In 2024, ADA was exercised 2,775 times, an average of 53 proactive outages a week to improve safety conditions.I bet on Road Safety: The Company promotes safe behavior on roads by all road users. In 2024, the vehicles associated with GeoPark operations traveled more than 16.8 million kilometers without recordable vehicle incidents, demonstrating the safety commitment of all drivers.GeoPark provided more than 9,750 training sessions to employees and contractors in 2024 and held 1,390 drills to reinforce the culture of care in its operations. The Company also held its first “Alianza Pro” annual suppliers meeting to reinforce the shared commitment to health and safety in its value chain.These figures reflect the Company’s continuous efforts and the practices implemented by its employees to prevent accidents and ensure that everyone returns home safely.
