A strong program ensures ethics in our operations and value chain. Our GeoPark Ethics and Compliance Program is based on three lines of action that guarantee coherent and preventive ethics management, based on continuous improvement.
We increase the understanding and appropriation of our values through continuous training processes on the Code of Ethics, active communication of our internal policies, and activities that reinforce our SPEED principles throughout the Company. Open dialogue and constantly raising teams’ awareness are key elements of this work.
We regularly evaluate ethical considerations in our operations and value chain. We conduct due diligence with third parties, suppliers and strategic partners, and manage potential conflicts of interest through clear controls and established processes.
We have an independent and confidential Ethics Hotline, as well as indicators that allow us to monitor, analyze and provide feedback on our processes. The program has been externally evaluated under international standards, allowing us to identify opportunities for improvement and continuously strengthen our ethics management.
GeoPark’s regulatory framework reflects our commitment to transparency and ethics, incorporating principles of conduct that exceed legal requirements. These documents strengthen our self-regulation and guide the actions of employees, suppliers and strategic partners.
In line with our Sustainability Framework and our commitment to building relationships of trust, we prioritize access to timely, accurate, and reliable information. Our sustainability communications plan guides our messages and channels to each stakeholder group. This is complemented by external evaluations and sustainability indexes, reinforcing trust and showing our ethical commitment. Through these independent measurements, we transparently share details of our performance and consolidate a culture based on integrity, accountability and continuous improvement, acknowledged by global rating agencies that highlight our good corporate practices.
