GeoPark maintains social distancing from communities at the Morona project

Lima, Peru – GeoPark, the operator of the Morona Project in the Morona district, Datem del Marañón (Loreto), informs that since March 15 2020, in line with instructions from the Company’s Socioenvironmental Department and in accordance with Supreme Decree N°044-PCM-2020 of the Government of Peru, no GeoPark employee has visited, met or been in physical contact with anyone in the communities in the areas of direct or indirect influence of the Morona Project, in order to guarantee the health and welfare of the indigenous populations in these areas.
